Solid is a trans-national partnership which is developing an e-learning module in solid state synthesis to meet some of the new challenges and training needs of the European chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The project will develop theoretical and practical elements, using multimedia to express complex facts and ideas, including interactive visualization. This innovative and exciting development will allow Chemistry to be explored playfully, and the connection between the learner and the outcome to be more readily achieved. The learning platform will offer material at different levels as well as links providing both basic and specialist knowledge.
